Based in the Italian Dolomites, Blackfin Eyewear designs and manufactures all of its frames in a purpose-built facility dedicated exclusively to titanium. From solid 3 mm titanium blocks to vibrant metallic finishes, every stage of production is executed in-house, establishing Blackfin as a true leader in metal eyewear engineering.

Founded by Maria Pramaor, Blackfin introduced the concept of #neomadeinitaly—a modern approach to Italian manufacturing where the entire production process takes place within Italy. Unlike brands that rely on outsourced components and final assembly, Blackfin controls every step, ensuring consistency, precision, and uncompromising quality.

Blackfin frames are engineered with minimal construction and maximum performance. With the exception of the nose pads, the frames are completely weld-free, resulting in lighter weight, greater structural integrity, and cleaner aesthetics. Each frame is equipped with Blackfin’s patented Swordfish temple tips, designed to be shortened and customised, allowing for precise fitting and long-term comfort.

Advanced nano-plating technology gives Blackfin titanium its distinctive depth of colour while enhancing durability and resistance to wear. The result is eyewear that feels exceptionally light on the face yet remains resilient in daily use.
